Background

CTLA-4 (CD152) is an inhibitory checkpoint that competes with CD28 for B7 ligands to suppress T-cell activation and maintain immune tolerance. Clone 9D9 is a mouse IgG2b monoclonal antibody to mouse CTLA-4, validated for Western blot and functional assays. Anti-mouse CTLA-4 9D9 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only (RUO) reagent, 9D9 provides reproducible performance for checkpoint-blockade and tumour-immunology studies in the mouse.
