Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: This antibody should give satisfactory staining results when used on frozen sections but the concentration is assay dependent.
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

anti-CD8 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (YTS-169) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Background
CD8 marks cytotoxic T lymphocytes and serves as a co-receptor that stabilises TCR–MHC class I interactions during killing of infected or transformed cells. Clone YTS-169 is a rat IgG2b monoclonal antibody to mouse CD8, commonly applied for in vivo depletion alongside frozen IHC and flow cytometry. Anti-mouse CD8 YTS-169 is provided in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-suitable format and manufactured in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) amounts for bulk and high-throughput studies. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only (RUO) reagent, it gives reproducible, lot-to-lot consistent performance for cytotoxic T-cell research.
