20 mM Histidine pH 6.0 containing 150 mM NaCl. NOTE: A buffer exchange into PBS for conjugation and MES for functional assays may be required depending on your application.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using Protein A
Specificity
Anti-CD28 In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin (37.51) recognizes the CD28 co-stimulatory receptor, a ligand of CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2). CD28 is important for transmitting co-stimulatory signals for optimal T-cell activation.

Background
CD28 is the principal co-stimulatory receptor on T cells, delivering the second signal needed for full activation, proliferation and survival. Clone 37.51 is a Syrian hamster IgG monoclonal antibody to mouse CD28, validated for immunoprecipitation, Western blot, blocking, functional assays, flow cytometry and frozen IHC. Anti-mouse CD28 37.51 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only (RUO) reagent, 37.51 provides dependable, reproducible results for studies of T-cell co-stimulation in the mouse.
