Activation B7-2 antigen, Early T-cell costimulatory molecule 1, ETC-1
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
B cells and T cells (upregulated upon activation), macrophages, dendritic cells, and astrocytes
CD86, also known as B7-2, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the Ig gene superfamily. CD86 is a ligand for CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4). CD86 is related to the CD80 molecule and functions as a counterreceptor for CD28 and CTLA-4. The GL1 clone has been shown to provide critical signals for T-Cell-dependent responses in vivo and in vitro.
LPS-activated CBA/Ca mouse splenic B cells
This DyLight® 488 conjugate is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.
This antibody is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry
Flow Cytometry: This antibody can be used at a concentration of ≤ 0.25 µg per 100 µl of whole blood (or per 1.0 x 10^6 cells in a 100 µl total staining volume). Immunocytochemistry: Assay Dependent.
