Anti-CD70 Antibody, clone FR70 recognizes an epitope on Mouse CD70
Purification Method:
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Antigen Distribution:
The CD70 antigen is expressed by activated B cells and some activated T cells.
Background:
CD70 is a 30-33 kDa type II transmembrane protein. It is a member of the TNF superfamily, expressed on activated B cells, activated dendritic cells, and some activated T cells (low levels). CD70 interacts with CD27 to promote T-B cell cross-stimulation and co-stimulate B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin production. Cells expressing CD70 can co-stimulate T cell proliferation and enhance the production of cytokines. The FR70 antibody blocks CD70 binding to CD27.
Immunogen:
BALB/c mouse B lymphoma A20.J2
Concentration:
0.5 mg/ml
Formulation:
This Fluorescein (FITC) conjugate is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.
Storage:
This Fluorescein conjugate is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
Applications:
Flow Cytometry.
Application Notes:
The suggested concentration for this FR70 antibody for staining cells in flow cytometry is ≤ 1.0 μg per 10^6 cells in a volume of 100 μl. Titration of the reagent is recommended for optimal performance for each application.
