Background:
LAG-3, also known as CD223, is 70 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein within the Ig superfamily. CD223, like CD4, binds MHC class II molecules, but with higher affinity than CD4. Clone C9B7W antibody has been reported to block the function of murine LAG-3 in vivo and in vitro.
