Background:

Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, often abbreviated to GM-CSF is a pleiotropic cytokine that controls the production and function of blood cells. GM-CSF stimulates stem cells to produce granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils) and monocytes.GM-CSF has a critical role in regulation of surfactant homeostasis and alveolar macrophage innate immune functions in the lung.

Storage:

Immunofluorescence of frozen tissue sections: Sample: Frozen sections of tumor tissues from tumor bearing C57BL / 6 mice (inoculated with LLC cells) Protocol: 1. Tumors were dissected, fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, and dehydrated in 30% sucrose; 2. Frozen tumor sections were prepared at 25 ℃ and rinsed in PBS; 3. Blocking buffer: PBS containing 0.3% Triton + 5% goat serum; Sections were blocked for 1h; 4. Primary antibodies: Diluted in blocking buffer; incubated overnight at 4℃.
