Background
By controlling degradation of the LDL receptor, proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) has become a prominent target in cardiovascular and lipid-metabolism research. This research-grade anti-human PCSK9 recombinant monoclonal antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of evolocumab, built around the PCSK9 target as a human IgG2 for research use only. Manufactured to in vivo standards as an ultra-pure, low-endotoxin preparation, it is supplied in scalable milligram to gram quantities for high-throughput and bulk laboratories. The antibody supports preclinical applications including PCSK9-blocking assays, in vitro LDL-receptor studies, and in vivo models of lipid metabolism.
