Clone PIP is an Armenian hamster IgG isotype-control antibody that supplies a matched, non-specific reference for experiments using Armenian hamster IgG primary antibodies. With no biologically relevant binding, it is well suited to determining background, setting flow-cytometry gates, and serving as a negative control in functional and in vivo studies. The antibody is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is non-therapeutic and provided exclusively for research use only, with reproducible control performance.

This Armenian Hamster IgG isotype control monoclonal antibody has been tested against selected species' cells and tissues to assure minimal cross-reactivity.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
This antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added.
Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Application Notes
This isotype control antibody should be used at the same concentration as the primary antibody.
