Anti-Mouse Tim-3 clone RMT3-23 is a rat IgG2a kappa monoclonal antibody that recognises mouse Tim-3 (HAVCR2; UniProt Q8VIM0). Raised in rat against the mouse antigen, it is a widely used research reagent for detecting and functionally interrogating Tim-3 on exhausted and activated T cells, regulatory T cells, and myeloid populations. Tim-3 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3), encoded by Havcr2, is a type I membrane protein and immune checkpoint receptor. Because of this role in restraining anti-tumour and antiviral immunity, Tim-3 is an actively studied immune-checkpoint target, and antibodies against it are used to probe checkpoint blockade, T-cell exhaustion, and combination immunotherapy in preclinical models.
